3. How to Enter

To enter the competition, participants must:

  • Purchase any adidas merchandise from a participating Skipper Bar store or online at www.skipperbar.co.za during the promotional period.
  • Scan the official competition QR code available in-store or on Skipper Bar's social media platforms.
  • Complete the official entry form.
  • Submit:
    • Full name and surname
    • Mobile contact number
    • Email address
    • ID Number
    • Valid proof of purchase (till slip or online order confirmation)

Entries submitted without valid proof of purchase will be deemed invalid.

4. Winner Selection and Notification

  • One winner will be selected by means of a random draw.
  • The draw will take place within 5 business days after the competition closing date.
  • The winner will be contacted via the contact details supplied upon entry.
  • The winner will have 24 hours to respond and accept the prize.
  • If the winner cannot be contacted, declines the prize, fails to respond within the prescribed period, or is found to be ineligible, an alternate winner may be selected.

The Promoter's decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.

5. Eligibility

This competition is open to:

  • South African citizens and legal residents;
  • Persons aged 18 years or older at the date of entry.

The following persons are not eligible to enter:

  • Employees, directors, agents and consultants of Skipper Bar, Studio 88 Group, adidas South Africa and their affiliated companies;
  • Immediate family members of the persons listed above;
  • Any agencies or suppliers directly associated with this promotion.

6. General Conditions

  • Multiple entries are permitted; however, each entry must be linked to a unique qualifying purchase.
  • Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify all entries and supporting information.
  • Fraudulent, misleading, incomplete or illegible entries may be disqualified.
  • The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or terminate the competition should circumstances beyond its reasonable control make such action necessary.

7. Publicity

By accepting the prize, the winner and nominated friends agree to participate in reasonable publicity related to the competition, including photography, video content, social media content and promotional material, without additional compensation.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter, adidas South Africa, their affiliates, directors, employees, agents and suppliers shall not be liable for:

  • Any technical malfunction affecting entries;
  • Lost, delayed, incomplete or corrupted entries;
  • Any injury, loss, damage or claim arising directly or indirectly from participation in the competition or use of the prize.

9. Privacy and Data Protection

By entering the competition, participants consent to the collection, processing and storage of their personal information for purposes of administering the competition. Skipper Bar may use participant information for marketing purposes, subject to applicable laws and participants' marketing preferences.

Personal information will not be sold to unauthorised third parties.

10. Governing Law

This competition and these Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
